Campbelltown’s Va Bene restaurant new China trade hub as owners become presidents of the China Australia Entrepreneurs Association

The nerve centre of SA’s trade links with China is now operating from the back of a Campbelltown restaurant.

Va Bene Cafe owners Pasquale Catania and Domenic Clemente have been made the state presidents of the China Australia Entrepreneurs Association, an international trade organisation.

They are the first in the world without Chinese heritage to take on the presidency roles.

“China is the biggest market in the world and we are the first Australian born presidents in the association so having Australia’s main office here in Campbelltown is going to be huge for the area,” Mr Clemente, 27, of Paradise, said.
